How to Apply
The application process was painless to go through. It’s encouraging. The folks from EGEF were quick on the reply. I felt supported all the way through. It makes me want to do another one.”
—Linda Cram, 5th Grade Teacher, Hanaford School
Our application process has been redesigned to make it easier for busy teachers to explore ideas and receive iterative feedback from our Board. Begin the process by submitting the abbreviated idea form and we’ll get in touch with feedback and to help you through the full application form.
Please clearly state the intended purpose, educational goals, and projected impact of your program idea within the school system.
When you are ready to submit the full application, you will need to provide specific vendor cost projections including competitive bidding on line items greater than $1000. Full applications should, where feasible, include documentation of similar project integration in other school districts, locally or nationally, with an up-to-date assessment of success.
EGEF looks to award funding to grant proposals that clearly articulate an enriching and innovative curricular enhancement through a well-constructed application. The committee specifically looks at creativity as well as impact in their review of applications. It should be understood that a key element in the mission of the foundation is to stimulate and support cutting edge and world class curricular enhancement in the school system.
The 2017 deadline for applications is March 15.
