Veterans thru Presidents Day
Goal: $100 from 100 Donors in 100 Days
The East Greenwich Education Foundation (EGEF) is excited to announce the “100 Days Fund Drive” beginning November 10th (Veterans Day) and continuing through February 19th (Presidents Day). The purpose of this drive is to raise money to support educational grants for East Greenwich public schools.
As an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, EGEF promotes excellence in education by providing annual grants that fund creative, innovative and sustainable educational programming in each of our public schools. This year we are celebrating the 10-year anniversary of EGEF which has raised over $200,000 in grant money since its inception. Some of last year’s grants include “Meadowbrook by the Bay”, which gives every Meadowbrook student the chance to do field research on Narragansett Bay, as well as Eldredge School’s “21st Century Learning Environment” and Frenchtown School’s “Where the Wild Things Are”, a program teaching engineering and programing principles at an early age. Learn more about EGEF about highlights from this year’s and previous years’ grant recipient.
One of the easiest ways to support public education is to make a tax deductible donation to EGEF. Any dollar amount donated is greatly appreciated! For those able to donate $100 or more, we’ll enter your name into a random drawing at the end of the drive and one winner will receive 2 free tickets to the annual EGEF Ball (Beach Ball 2018 @ The Dunes Club, June 15, 2018).
Please donate to help reach our goal of $100 from 100 donors in 100 days!
