The East Greenwich Education Foundation is pleased to announce the selection of its 2015 grant winners.
Thanks to a successful fundraising campaign, the Foundation was able to fund all of the grant requests this year that met the Foundation’s criteria.
Sara Whitney, Chair of the Grants Committee, says, “This was my third grant cycle as an EGEF board member and, as always, the caliber of proposals we received was just incredible. I’m so impressed with our teachers’ creativity, intellect and willingness to go the extra mile for our kids. I’m very much looking forward to seeing how these programs evolve this year.”
Incoming EGEF President Rebecca Bliss noted, “Seven years after its founding, EGEF is proud to continue the tradition of investing in East Greenwich schools to enrich the educational experiences for our children. We are fortunate to have dedicated board members, and to live in a supportive community that values public education.”
